Our Goals:
The
Blairsville Area UGRR Project is dedicated to the memory of the area men and
women who joined in the Underground Railroad Movement of pre-Civil War
America.
To
that end, the Project has set itself the tasks of:

educating the public regarding the UGRR in general and
local involvement in particular; |
|
researching, documenting, and preserving area history; |
|
developing presentations, historic narratives, and
other materials to advance public awareness; |
|
creating a museum to showcase and exhibit area UGRR-related
material. |
